When you are ready to export the edit of the government meeting, refer to this checklist.
The Lower third (key/graphic bar) needs to have the meeting date on it. The date is shown on the key as an abbreviated date format:
January | JAN |
February | FEB |
March | MAR |
April | APR |
May | MAY |
June | JUN |
July | JUL |
August | AUG |
September | SEP |
October | OCT |
November | NOV |
December | DEC |
Titles, at the front and end of the meeting, are both controlled by the same title within the edit. All you need to do is change the date on one, the other is simply a second instance of it.
The date on the Title page, needs to be the full date: spell out the full month, and give the number(s) of the days that the meeting took place on.
Check that your timings for where the chapter/agenda points are within the edit are at the start of the agenda item. A few seconds just before the agenda item is verbally introduced is fine too.
Currently (2018, September), we are required to export two formats of all government meetings.
The same naming system is used across all formats that we export.
Eau Claire City Council | ECCC |
Eau Claire Plan Commission | ECPC |
Eau Claire Waterways and Parks | ECWP |
Eau Claire Redevelopment Authority | ECRDA |
Eau Claire City Council Worksession | ECCCws |
Eau Claire Area School Board | ECSB |
When all exports are finished, we will begin their upload to the Video On-demand server (currently Youtube.)
While the H.264 files are uploading to youtube, connect to the Playback server and copy the file from the local drive (MPG-2) to the meeting folder on the playback server.
When the government meeting is loaded to the playback server. notify the scheduler that the meeting is available for scheduling.
When both the MPG-2 has been copied to the playback server and the H.264 has finished uploading to youtube, Move (Cut and Paste) the files to their respective folders on the share drive.
